The Clinical Research Unit mission is to create a research unit that provides participant and family centered care, demonstrates exemplary professional practice, and provides quality data and research resources. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: Join a team of REMARKABLE nurses to care for patients in the Clinical Research Unit – a 15-bed dedicated research facility within University Hospital that serves both investigator-initiated and industry studies. Care for in- and outpatient adults participating in research studies across multiple disciplines including hematology/oncology, Alzheimer’s disease, pulmonary, endocrine/metabolic, and infectious disease. In addition, we see participants enrolled in healthy volunteer studies. Provide direct patient care on the clinical research unit, including administration of chemotherapy and novel treatments. Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, performing venipuncture, accessing central lines and ports, completing comprehensive head-to-toe assessments, and processing laboratory samples in accordance with research protocols.
