About The Position
RN - Infection Preventionist Join Our Team. Protect Our Residents. Lead the Way. We’re looking for a skilled, proactive RN - Infection Preventionist to champion safety and quality in our skilled nursing facility. If you’re passionate about preventing infections, educating staff, and ensuring residents thrive in a safe environment — this role is for you.
Requirements
- Current RN license
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Knowledge of infection control practices (IPC/CDC guidelines)
- Great communicator and team collaborator
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
- Current RN Licensure in the State employed.
- Valid CPR Certification.
- Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing preferred
- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead our Infection Prevention & Control Program
- Track, trend, and report infection data
- Educate staff on best practices and safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Partner with leadership to keep our residents healthy and protected
