The RN acts as a leader in patient care, utilizing the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. This role involves effectively delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members, assuming accountability for quality patient outcomes, and exhibiting sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity. The incumbent will maintain involvement in activities aimed at achieving unit and department strategic goals and objectives, demonstrating professional responsibility and accountability for their practice, and supporting the company's philosophy of nursing.
