About The Position

Incorporates differences into the provision of care. Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum to include patient and family education. Utilizes standards, guidelines, protocols, or pathways for care delivery. Incorporates data and information to continuously improve care and practice to enhance outcomes. Administers Medications according to standard nursing practice. Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development.
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing or equivalent
- 2-3 years of Perioperative experience
- Alabama Board of Nursing License
- ACLS must be obtained within 1 year of hire date
- BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire date
- PALS within 1 year of hire date (if required in work area)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience preferred.
- 3-5 years of Perioperative experience
