About The Position

As a ICU Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN), you'll play a vital role in the healing journey of patients with a variety of burn injuries. With stays ranging from days to weeks, you'll build meaningful relationships and witness powerful healing journeys. Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of GA or Compact Multistate
  • At least 1 year of RN experienced preferred; 6 months experience required
  • Must be willing to commit to a minimum of 8 shifts per month
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

Responsibilities

  • Assessing patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout their care journey
  • Performing expert procedures and medication administration - including pain relief and fluid therapy - delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort
  • Educating and supporting patients and families with compassion and clarity to confidently navigate recovery and make informed decisions
  • Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-centered care tailored to each individual's needs
