FTE: 90% WORK SHIFT Days PAY RANGE: $39.00 - $68.50 UNION: SEIU 1199-RN and LPN SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS/PREMIUMS: Weekend & Holiday Shifts: No On-Call Shifts: No Shift Differentials: Evening $3.00/hour Night $5.00/hour Premiums: Weekend Premium $4.50/hour Standby Premium $4.00/hour Charge Premium $3.25/hour Float/PM Premium $2.50/hour Per Diem Premium 15% (on rate of pay, in lieu of benefits) Certification Premium $2.00/hour JOB DESCRIPTION: The Heart Center Nurse must deliver safe and valid diagnostic and risk reduction invasive Cardiology procedures in a clinical health care environment in accordance with departmental and organizational policies and procedures. He/she may also be responsible for selected non-clinical activities. He/she may be responsible for assisting with direction, and coordination of clinical functions of the department. The RN will assess patient acuity and census, providing assistance to Heart Center Supervisor. Notifies Heart Center Supervisor for the need to make adjustments in staffing based on perceived demand. Coordinates any inpatient order & coordination for MD’s presence in procedures; phone calls for diagnostic procedure from MD or office requesting a diagnostic procedure earlier then next available appointment. The Heart Center Nurse participates in community education. EDUCATION Graduate of an accredited nursing program preferred. EXPERIENCE Cardiology experience in a health care setting required; e.g., pre-hospital, clinic/office, or hospital. LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS Current Washington State Registered Nurse Licensure. Requirements

  • Cardiology experience in a health care setting required; e.g., pre-hospital, clinic/office, or hospital.
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse Licensure.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
