RN - GI Lab - Casual Status - AMP - La Jolla
About The Position
This is a Casual status also known as Per Diem RN position working 10-hr day shifts. Business hours are Monday-Friday from 7am-5:30pm. Located in La Jolla at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in the GI Lab. The training schedule is preferably full time status. Why join Scripps Health? Requirements
- Completion of accredited RN program
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Current CA RN License
- BLS & ACLS through the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- 1 year procedural RN experience
- Inpatient RN experience
- GI Lab experience
- ER, ICU, Procedural (IR, cath lab) PACU experience preferred
- BSN
Responsibilities
- Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
- Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.
- Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.
- Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
- Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
