About The Position
This is a full time, benefited Registered Nurse (RN) role with 80 hours per 2 week pay period located in Chula Vista. The hours are varied and include rotating call on weekends and holidays. As an RN within Endoscopy, you will provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice, including assessment, planning, implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for patient care as delivered by the Care Team under their supervision and works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year RN experience
- Active California RN license
- BLS, Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association
- Be able to speak, read and following instructions in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
Nice To Haves
- BA in Nursing
- Previous ICU or GI experience is preferred
- Pre-OP/Post Op experience is ideal too
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice
- Perform patient care including assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes
- Take primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision
- Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care
