About The Position
Join our team of Emergency Services staff in our brand new Emergency Department! Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital. Job Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care The nurse assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period The nurse collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care The nurse has knowledge of and utilizes appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients
Requirements
- IA RN license
- Previous ED or ICU critical care experience or at least one year of Med/Surg experience required
- BLS, and ACLS are required in-house education available
- Must have or acquire in the first year ACLS, TNCC, PALS, BLS, NCI and HAZMAT in-house education available
Responsibilities
