At Scripps, you’ll have access to some of the most advanced heart care and surgical options available, including: Electrophysiology services Interventional cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging Cardiovascular and thoracic surgery Heart failure care, including LVAD placement Your Role as an Electrophysiology RN: As an Electrophysiology Registered Nurse, you will: Coordinate and collaborate with team members to prepare cases, organize rooms, and assist with setup and takedown before and after procedures. Circulate during procedures, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Assist the anesthesiologist with anesthesia induction and intubation. Anticipate patient-specific needs during cases and support the team during critical situations to ensure the best possible outcomes. Take a lead role in patient care, including: Conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating progress toward expected outcomes. Taking primary responsibility for the care delivered by the Care Team under your supervision. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS provider certifications
  • At least one (1) year recent RN experience.

Nice To Haves

  • CCRN Certification
  • One (1) year of recent RN experience in an Electrophysiology Lab or Cath Lab
  • Two (2) years of recent RN experience in a hospital acute care setting such as ICU or Emergency Department
