About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support and coordinate the development, implementation, and daily operations of an established ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) program at a large acute care hospital in Palm Beach County. The ECMO Program Coordinator will collaborate closely with the perfusion department, mechanical circulatory support team, and cardiovascular critical care teams to ensure high-quality patient care, program compliance, and operational excellence. Facility Overview This role is based at a 500+ bed acute care hospital offering comprehensive services including emergency care, cardiovascular services, neurosciences, robotic surgery, orthopedic and spine care, bariatrics, behavioral health, obstetrics, and advanced cancer care. The facility is recognized with multiple national certifications and specialty accreditations, including stroke and cardiovascular program distinctions. Located in Palm Beach County, the area offers coastal living, shopping, dining, and family-friendly amenities.

Requirements

  • Current Florida RN license or Compact State Licensure (in compliance with Florida state requirements)
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current BLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities

  • Support development and operational oversight of the ECMO program
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care for ECMO patients
  • Collaborate with perfusion, mechanical circulatory support, and cardiovascular ICU teams
  • Assist in maintaining program compliance, quality metrics, and performance standards
  • Participate in education, policy development, and program improvement initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to hospital and regulatory standards
