Banner Health is searching for a RN Clinical Support Analyst I who is passionate about helping shape the future of patient care across our ambulatory and acute care services in Tucson. What makes this role exciting: Be the trusted ITIHS Engagement and Support partner for diverse clinical teams, influence EHR optimization and elevate end‑user experience, play a vital role in system design, data management, and workflow improvements, collaborate with Nursing Informatics, Clinical Applications IT, and central education teams, work on-site across clinics and acute care facilities with some remote flexibility and make a tangible impact on clinicians’ success—and ultimately patient care! In this dynamic position, you’ll be the bridge between frontline clinicians and technology, empowering care teams with smarter, more efficient tools and workflows. As a key member of our ITIHS Engagement and Support team, you’ll provide clinical expertise, hands‑on user support, and drive process optimization that directly elevates patient outcomes. This is an onsite role in Tucson, AZ with a work schedule of Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. This position will server across the Tucson ambulatory clinics and acute facilitates. POSITION SUMMARY This position will serve as the subject matter expert for complex clinical workflows as they relate to systems and processes. They will apply nursing standards as they collaborate with IT teams and user groups to develop and deploy best practices. Incorporates critical thinking and knowledge of clinical decision making into the support of software and IT processes. Assist with the clinical consensus group development and implementation of current and future state workflows. Works closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop best practices based their broad understand across clinical venues and user groups. Collaborate to increase efficiencies and promote continuity of care through technology and workflow improvements.

Requirements

• Incumbents must possess knowledge and experience equivalent to completion of a bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field or related business discipline; and have an active RN license for a clinical position in a practicing state.
• Must have two to three years experience working within a complex and diverse health care setting.
• Must be proficient in the use of system office applications.
• Must possess a basic understanding of integrated clinical systems.
• Must have highly developed interpersonal and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize needs rapidly.
• This position requires the ability to convey messages and thoughts clearly to a diverse audience, using both verbal and written mediums.
• Requires the ability to promote change among large groups of workers.
• Requires the ability to coordinate information and activities, work under stress of deadlines and frequent interruptions, and to possess analytical problem-solving skills.
• Requires the maintenance of familiarity with clinical care processes and information technology.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; Certification in Nursing Informatics preferred.
• Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies nursing standards to perform outcome coordinator functions.
• Performs Educator functions.
• Performs Consultant and Project Coordinator functions.
• Performs Advocate functions to ensure technology solutions support patient care standards and outcomes.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of trends and advances in the field of healthcare IT as well as new developments of electronic health record and associated technologies.
• This position must interact with and support all levels of end users throughout the facility or specialty area, including technicians, nurses, therapists, and physicians.
