Requirements

  • Current Montana RN license (or compact license eligible to practice in Montana)
  • BSN required (Master’s preferred in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field)
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • 2+ years of recent Critical Care experience
  • Current RQI Healthcare Provider certification (ACLS preferred/required for ICU)
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, quality improvement, and regulatory standards

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Specialty certification (e.g., CCRN)
  • Experience leading in a high-acuity or ICU setting

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Inspire Build and nurture a high-performing ICU team through coaching, mentorship, and professional development Foster a culture grounded in integrity, compassion, service, excellence, and ownership Maintain a strong, visible presence on the unit—supporting staff, patients, and families
  • Drive Clinical Excellence Oversee patient care delivery , staffing, and clinical operations within the ICU Champion quality, safety, and regulatory compliance Lead performance improvement initiatives and promote a culture of continuous learning
  • Operational Leadership Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation Monitor productivity and support fiscal responsibility Partner across departments to ensure seamless, coordinated care
  • Build a Thriving Culture Promote employee engagement, retention, and growth Partner with HR on hiring, performance management, and team development Encourage open communication, collaboration, and innovation
