About The Position

TheClinicalInformaticsCoordinator(CIC)is responsible for the facilitation and leadership of facility Clinical Informatics by leading the implementation of and providing ongoing support for corporate/division/facility projects related to clinical informatics, including: standardization utilization integration optimization TheCICis thecriticalfacility resourceresponsible for supporting the implementation of and providing ongoing support for corporate/division/facility-wide standardization,utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to the electronic health record and other clinically related technologies.Theyareresponsible forthecoordination, support, and completion of project assessments, project advancements, workflow mapping, tools, and resources focused on Clinical Informatics initiatives, including but not limited to provider order entry and documentation, standard clinical documentation,promotinginteroperability, and other technology that supports clinician workflow. The CICwillparticipatein the company-wide community of Informatics by working with the Director of Clinical Informatics and facility peers to ensure clinical applications are well supported.

Requirements

Associate degree in nursing
Minimum 1 to 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting
Current(per State)RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred
Nurse or Health Informatics Certification is encouraged

Responsibilities
