About The Position

Avita Health System is proud to serve the communities of Crawford and Richland counties through three hospitals and numerous clinic locations. Over the past few years, we’ve tripled in size, now employing over 2,200 team members and more than 160 physicians and advanced practitioners. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to the people who depend on us. We’re currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Educator (RN) to join our Education Department at our Bucyrus location. Position Overview Provides assistance with the operational and educational activities. Consults with clinical educators, staff, physicians and the Director of Nursing on the organization’s educational requirements to ensure patient and staff needs are met. Assists with developing educational policies and procedures. Serves as a resource person to staff and management.

Requirements

Current state of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or currently enrolled and will obtain within 6 months).
BLS certification.
Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience required.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a clinical educator.
ACLS and PALS certification.
Certified as a BLS, ACLS, and PALS instructor.

Responsibilities
