Requirements
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Education, or related field.
- Two (2) years related experience or one (1) year supervisory.
Nice To Haves
- Per specialty Certification Preferred
- Three (3) years Specific area experience and one (1) year supervisory.
- Trauma and ED Experience
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
- Develops, implements and evaluates educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
- Serves as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
- Participates in the coordination and continuity of orientation programs, including preceptor programs.
- This educator is accountable for the documentation and validation Network staff training at Training Facility. Provides curriculum development in collaboration with Clinical Education Specialists.
- Participates in organizational goal setting. Participates in brainstorming activities. Provides feedback on nursing procedures.
- Supports and participates in development of protocols related to practice in collaboration with other team members.
- Participates in research and Quality Monitoring. Participates in the evaluation of results and impact of services.
