This is a full time, benefited position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Located at Scripps Anderson Medical Pavilion on the Scripps Memorial Campus in La Jolla. Why join Scripps Health? As the Clinical RN for Diabetes and Endocrinology, your duties will include: ~40% direct patient care - daily nurse visits for injection and CGM placements and education, & ~60% phones and in-basket management. Performing patient assessments, care tasks, and medication administration as appropriate. Assisting glucose monitoring education for diabetic patients. Educate patients and document patient interactions while practicing infection control. Contributing to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within your own scope of practice.

Requirements

  • CA RN license
  • BLS through the American Heart Association
  • ADN or Nursing Diploma

Nice To Haves

  • One year outpatient RN experience
  • Diabetes education
  • 1-2 years RN experience
