About The Position

Southwoods Health is seeking a flexible and clinical-minded Registered Nurse to join our Urology team. This unique role rotates across our three Urology practices, acting as a vital link between our physicians and patients to ensure seamless, high-quality care.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• 3+ years in a physician’s office or ambulatory setting is required
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities across multiple locations.

Nice To Haves

• previous EMR experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with specialized urological procedures and manage the scheduling of complex clinical treatments.
• Act as the primary point of contact for medical concerns; answer patient inquiries, triage phone messages, and process prescription refills through the EMR.
• Monitor diagnostic test results, communicate findings to patients per physician instructions, and coordinate necessary follow-up testing or appointments.
• Perform Point of Care (POC) testing and ensure all necessary orders, labs, and reports are compiled and transmitted for hospital procedures.
• Maintain a professional environment by completing EOC rounds and ensuring all processes meet OSHA and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
