Unlock your potential! In this role: You will assist with outreach and educational programs for physicians, hospitals and clinics. Communicates assessment data in orderly fashion by verbalizing pertinent information to health team members. Ensure data and patient care registries are maintained You will demonstrate an ability to be flexible, organized and function well under stressful situations. Ensure ED STEMI protocols are followed Verify EMS Reviews are completed Partner with hospital and community members to organize community education events You will collaborate with fellow members of the team and orient as needed. Requirements

Current nursing license in good standing
Associate's Degree in nursing required, bachelor's preferred
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within six months of hire
Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support or obtain within 90 days of date of hire.
Previous heart related experience strongly preferred
Prior experience working in ER or ICU strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with outreach and educational programs for physicians, hospitals and clinics.
Communicates assessment data in orderly fashion by verbalizing pertinent information to health team members.
Ensure data and patient care registries are maintained
Demonstrate an ability to be flexible, organized and function well under stressful situations.
Ensure ED STEMI protocols are followed
Verify EMS Reviews are completed
Partner with hospital and community members to organize community education events
Collaborate with fellow members of the team and orient as needed.
Work on quality improvement projects for in patient, STEMI and Heart Failure teams
