About The Position

Provides nursing services to patients requiring care. Ability to assess the
physical, psychosocial, and learning needs of patients.  Develops, implements,
and evaluates a plan of care based on those assessments. Capable of delegating
appropriate tasks and supervising ancillary staff.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with current licensure in the State of New Jersey as required by law.
• You must be enrolled within six months of hire or rehire in a CCNE or NLNAC accredited BSN or MSN program (or foreign equivalent) with a graduation date that falls on or before the employee’s third employment anniversary date into a nursing position.
• Previous experience in psychiatry.
• Minimum of one year medical-surgical nursing preferable, but not essential.
• Current registration with New Jersey Board of Nursing.
• Welle certification required (will train).
• BLS required.
• National Certification required within 3 years of hire.
• American Heart Association CPR required.
• Demonstrates clinical knowledge, nursing competence, basic leadership skills and decision-making ability.

Nice To Haves

• BSN or MSN graduates preferred.
