Fairview Hospital's Level III Birthing Center provides care to patients in labor and delivery as well as provides treatments for patients undergoing elevated risk antepartum or postpartum. As RN on our team, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience. All the while, you will continue growing as an RN and gain extensive hands-on experience in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving healthcare setting. Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. This is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working various shifts between 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. with weekend requirements.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Two years of recent related nursing experience for external applicants
Less than two years of experience, but post orientation/90-day probationary period considered with the Chief Nursing Officer approval for internal applicants OR military RN experience
