About The Position

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide direct patient care in an Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health setting within a secure/correctional unit. The RN will be responsible for delivering comprehensive psychiatric nursing care while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health nursing experience (Required)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
• Active New York State RN License
• NYSED Primary Source Verification
• AHA BLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult behavioral health patients
• Conduct psychiatric assessments and ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer medications and manage individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Ensure patient and staff safety in a secure unit environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient outcomes
