About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Adult Behavioral Health Emergency Services to support a fast-paced emergency care environment. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing acute behavioral health crises while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary clinical teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health nursing experience
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
- Active New York State RN License
- Primary Source Verification
- AHA BLS Certification
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult behavioral health patients in an emergency setting
- Perform patient assessments, crisis interventions, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health specialists, and emergency staff
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements
