This job completes a 16-month LPN to RN Apprenticeship training program, in which the incumbent learns and performs the administration of care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a training instructor. Enrolls in an accredited program and is expected to complete training curriculum, specified clinical rotations and 2,000 hours of on the job training with an associate degree. Performs a variety of indirect or direct patient care duties. Performs a variety of indirect or direct patient care duties, including utilizing the nursing process, under supervision and upon completion of the program, successfully passing the Registered Nursing board exam in the state of practice. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
