Join our dynamic Multi-Specialty Ambulatory team, which includes Urology, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Pulmonary, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Pre-Anesthesia and Colorectal services-primarily adult patients with one pediatric orthopedic provider. As an RN Team Lead, you'll play a key role in coordinating and overseeing daily operations, workflows and the delivery of patient care, while supporting caregiver education and development. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine hands-on clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, fostering team growth, ensuring a seamless patient experience and making a meaningful impact in your community. A caregiver in this position works 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Two years of recent RN experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross Certification within six months of hire
  • Ability to travel to Cleveland Clinic regional locations
  • Experience performing telephone triage

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Previous Charge Nurse or supervisory experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in a variety of ambulatory settings.
  • Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients to ensure quality and safe care.
  • Administer RN-only medications for OBGYN, Pain, Ortho & Family Medicine.
  • Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
  • Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.
  • Assist in preparing department specific education.
  • Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, experience and safety.
  • Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures in various locations.
