About The Position

The RMA Material Planner is responsible for coordinating material planning and workflow activities within the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) operations in Tustin, CA. This role ensures timely availability of service parts, accurate system transactions, and efficient processing of returned products to support repair, refurbishment, and customer service requirements. The ideal candidate brings experience in RMA operations and material planning, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining process accuracy, supporting customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with quality and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Highly experienced candidates performing equivalent work are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in RMA operations, material planning, process control, or customer service within a manufacturing or service environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of RMA processes, policies, and workflow controls.
  • Experience with SAP required; eRMA experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience working in a structured or Agile environment preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret complex data.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under changing workloads and deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and handle service parts and packaging materials.
  • Commitment to EHS policies and ISO quality compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate material requirements to support RMA repair, refurbishment, and service operations.
  • Monitor service parts availability, shortages, and replenishment to ensure timely turnaround of returned products.
  • Maintain accurate system transactions and data within SAP, eRMA, and related systems.
  • Analyze RMA data and workflow trends to support process control and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, and Customer Service teams to resolve material discrepancies and delays.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple RMA-related projects and planning activities to meet deadlines and service expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, RMA procedures, ISO quality standards, and EHS requirements.
  • Support inventory control activities related to service parts and returned materials.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding material status, timelines, and planning updates.
  • Assist with documentation, reporting, and process improvement efforts as needed.
