About The Position

Christian Brothers Services (CBS) is a nonprofit organization providing health, retirement, risk, and consulting solutions to Catholic organizations nationwide. With more than 250 employees, CBS delivers mission-driven services through strong financial stewardship and operational excellence. We are seeking a detail-oriented Risk Solutions Intern - Account Management to support our Risk Solutions division This structured summer internship provides hands-on experience in account management support, prospect research, CRM data management, and client service operations. This is a structured, paid summer internship designed to provide meaningful work experience and direct mentorship. Pay Rate: $17.00/hour What You’ll Gain Exposure to account management and member relationship strategies Experience supporting renewal and client lifecycle processes Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM Prospect research and business development support Insight into nonprofit risk pooling operations

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Interest in account management, business development, or client services
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Student applicants must have completed their sophomore year of college prior to the start of the internship (i.e. you must be an incoming college Junior or Senior)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist account managers with preparation of member meeting documentation and materials
  • Support prospecting initiatives through data compilation and historical opportunity analysis
  • Conduct research and compile data on target prospects
  • Assist with Salesforce client profile updates and data integrity efforts
  • Provide administrative support for renewal preparation and post-binding activities
  • Collaborate with team members to support client lifecycle and account management processes
