About The Position

National Funding, Inc., a California corporation originally formed in 1999 as Five Point Capital, Inc., is a small business funding company and an equipment leasing company, has the following open degreed/experienced position(s) available in San Diego, CA: Risk Manager Responsible for development, enhancement, and implementation of credit risk management strategies. Ensure the financial soundness of the portfolio, identify key credit and fraud risks, and collaborate with management to mitigate adverse impact. Lead strategic projects that enhance credit and fraud performance of the portfolio, such as new underwriting policies, enhanced fraud preventions strategies, and revenue optimizing initiatives. Develop and maintain portfolio performance reporting and analysis, such as dashboards. Maintain an effective control environment and respond to operational breakdowns with discipline. Work closely with stakeholders to develop business requirements for credit and fraud risk, develop appropriate product and technical requirements, and collaborate with technology partners to deploy. Analyze large volumes of data to identify emerging credit trends and uncover new fraud patterns. Identify areas of improvement needed and partner with other stakeholders to ensure that any process change will have the positive impact needed for the business needs. Ensure compliance with the company policies. Perform other tasks as requested.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Mathematics, Engineering or related field
  • three (3) years of experience in a related occupation/position/job title
