About The Position

As an Associate on the Wholesale Credit Risk Product Data Governance Team, you collaborate with technology partners, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy. You help ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility across the organization. You will have the opportunity to drive impactful data initiatives, foster strong partnerships, and contribute to the firm’s resilience and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in Credit Risk, Data Strategy, Data Management, or Data Governance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive-level communications
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with strong data analysis, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly, with a high degree of initiative and self-direction
  • Experience leading cross-functional data initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive decisions
  • Proficiency in process re-engineering
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, and a good understanding of Data Modeling best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within large Financial Services firms and domain knowledge in Credit Risk
  • Agentic AI knowledge for data mining

Responsibilities

  • Publish data products and assets into cloud environments
  • Identify owners of data products and coordinate cloud publication
  • Establish data contracts to ensure clarity and accountability, and resolve data quality issues efficiently
  • Standardize data operational models for consistency across Lines of Business
  • Identify and define strategic sources of data
  • Automate data enrichment using systemic feeds or Large Language Models
  • Define schema for data assets and publish data lineage
  • Establish a robust data quality program for business and technical needs
  • Monitor and report data level KPIs across products
  • Address and remediate regulatory requirements with product teams
  • Define ownership of data inputs, enrichment, changes, and outputs
