About The Position

This position is responsible for providing a proactive risk management program for Providence Centralia and Providence St Peter Hospital. This will be achieved by: 1) Defined methods and plans to reduce organizational risk and improve performance 2) Information synthesis, analysis, and reporting 3) Education, reporting, and coaching of staff and leadership regarding risk reduction and prevention 5) Oversight and management of facility claims 6) Development of risk management policies and procedures in collaboration with the Clinical Risk Manager - RN, and Senior Manager Risk Management 7) Collaboration with the Clinical Risk Manager - RN for the coordination of all aspects of the program as necessary.  This position reports to the Senior Manager for Risk Management. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Services, Law, Liberal Arts, or Nursing.
  • Upon hire: Certified in risk management or equivalent training.
  • 3 years Experience in health related risk issues.
