Participate in this 11+ week summer internship program to gain valuable career related work experience with a reputable company, creating the link between student's educational goasl and future employment opportunities. Intern will support the Risk Management department. The primary responsibility is to provide strong office support in the maintenance and communication of Insurance related documentation, and programs.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college program taking relevant coursework/major.
  • Insurance, Risk Management, or Business major preferred.
  • Ideal candidates will possess strong attention to detail and accuracy, communication/interpersonal skills, analytical and problem solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • All interns will also participate in Intern Orientation Week and obtain their OSHA-10 certification, participate in group activities (networking, community service, team building) and present a final presentation at the end of the program. Specific job details and duties will vary per department.

Responsibilities

  • Keep an up to date list of all active jobs.
  • Corresponding and Speaking with Vendors, Suppliers and Subcontractors to make sure insurance is in place. In addition to:1. Obtaining Certificates of Insurance, Endorsements, Declaration and Forms Pages.2. Verifying the accuracy of the documents collected to ensure Compliance. 3. Entering the insurance information into Viewpoint.
  • Track and input various Risk Management Data into Viewpoint.
  • Generate Microsoft Excel reports for Risk Management as Requested.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned
