About The Position

This role supports risk oversight across multiple domains including systems, AI/ML, cloud, and cybersecurity within Digital and Systems Risk Oversight (DSRO). It works closely with the Risk Automation & Intelligence Lead and other cross-functional teams to drive consistent execution of data and technology risk programs that enable a data-driven risk culture. The individual balances strategic engagement with technical depth, prioritizes effectively, and influences stakeholders to mature oversight capabilities. They are curious, business-focused, and comfortable challenging existing processes. They thrive in ambiguity, collaborate across teams, and identify and escalate technology-related risks. This role also accelerates automation using low-code tools including Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot Studio) and Python to build intelligent monitoring, auto-tagging, and streamlined risk processes. It requires a commitment to learning and applying new and advanced technologies as needed to enhance oversight efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically more than six years of applicable experience

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in technology risk, IT governance, or process automation.
  • 5+ years of experience working with large data sets, and optimizing data processes
  • 5+ years of experience with data visualization/exploration tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio), SharePoint, SQL, and Python.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets, optimize data processes, and extract meaningful insights.
  • Experience developing out-of-the-box AI solutions using tools like Copilot Studio and AI Builder.
  • Experience with ServiceNow development preferred.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. bank risk management frameworks and regulatory environments.
  • Technical acumen in databases, data models/lakes, integration techniques, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Skilled in data visualization, process modeling, application testing/design, and debugging.
  • Effective communicator with strong project management, collaboration, and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Strategic, curious, and adaptable with a bias for action and comfort navigating ambiguity.
