The Risk and Safety Analyst performs advanced, senior-level professional duties in Risk and Safety Management, including contract administration for Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and case management vendors, administration of auto, general liability, property, and workers' compensation claims, and oversight of the Return-to-Work and salary continuation programs. Responsibilities also include insurance coverage analysis, contract and RFP implementation, safety inspections, fire and life safety training, ergonomic assessments, and hazard identification. The position also supports the County's Commercial Defensive Driving Program, ADA compliance inspections, drug screening coordination, statistical reporting, trend analysis, and safety education initiatives. The Analyst plays a key role in loss prevention and safety efforts across departments and addresses problems of diverse scope.
