Job Description: This job is responsible for leading a team supporting data and technology requests, complex reporting and analysis, and modeling to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses. Key responsibilities include managing the review and analysis of portfolio trends, directing the development of more complex databases or queries to extract data, and supporting the production of data for internal and external reporting needs. Job expectations include working with Technology to implement changes necessary to support ongoing data needs. The IFRS9 Allowance Manager will: Lead Allowance reporting (forecast and close) for multiple international legal entities Lead stakeholder interaction to communicate results in committees and other forums, troubleshoot and handle questions and other analysis Lead decisions or adjustments to ensure the Allowance estimates are reasonable and supportable, we have adequate reserves at managed levels, and is consistent with our enterprise view and external communications Drive the quarterly build out of the allowance forecast to ensure a consistent narrative after the to socialize with partners Lead Allowance results for ICAAP, stress requirements Lead or assist with regulatory exams, external audit in inquiries, internal audits and support external financial statement reporting Assist with model risk management requirements and processes Coordinate with GRA teams, coach and guide analysts to help support the above responsibilities Evaluate technology investments, as required, to enhance the above responsibilities, driving process improvement and transparency with business partners Maintain appropriate documented procedures and controls
