About The Position

Anakeesta is seeking a Coaster Operations Assistant Manager to support the safe and efficient operation of all rides and attractions. In this leadership role, you will assist the Ride Operations Manager in supervising ride operators, ensuring guest safety, maintaining operational standards, and fostering an exceptional guest experience. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, outdoor environment. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of ride safety protocols and operational procedures.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on varied terrain.
  • Positive attitude, flexible, and team-oriented.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Capable of pushing, pulling, grasping, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, crouching, and crawling.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods on uneven terrain.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred, ideally in amusement park or ride operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Ride Operations Manager in overseeing all ride and coaster operations.
  • Supervise and support ride operators, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to staff during peak hours and special events.
  • Conduct daily ride inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
  • Train new ride operators on safety, operational procedures, and guest service expectations.
  • Monitor ride operation, guest flow, and environmental conditions throughout each shift.
  • Handle guest concerns and ensure issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate operational logs, incident reports, and documentation.
  • Support the development of scheduling, staffing, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Assist with implementing safety drills, emergency procedures, and team meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support ride operations and park success.
