About The Position

Keller’s Flea Market is seeking customer-focused and dependable team members to join our Ride Attendant team. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with people, especially children, and thrive in a fun, energetic, outdoor environment. As a Ride Attendant, you will play an important role in creating a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests while ensuring rides are operated efficiently and in compliance with safety standards. Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Responsible, alert, and safety-focused mindset
  • Ability to remain attentive and enforce rules respectfully
  • Comfortable working with children and families
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
  • Full weekend availability required
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds to assist riders when needed
  • Physically able to perform a demanding, active role
  • Reliable and team-oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service or ticket handling experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collect tickets and manage ride entry
  • Ensure riders meet height, age, and safety requirements
  • Safely load and unload passengers
  • Operate ride controls to start and stop equipment
  • Secure riders using safety bars, seat belts, or harnesses
  • Clearly explain safety procedures and expectations to guests
  • Monitor riders at all times to ensure safety
  • Respond appropriately in emergency situations, including stopping rides when necessary
  • Inspect ride equipment for safety and report concerns
  • Maintain cleanliness around ride areas
  • Enforce all safety rules and regulations in a professional manner
  • Assist guests as needed and provide excellent customer service
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
