About The Position

This position involves performing vehicle dynamics subjective evaluations, tire testing, spring & bar selection, damper tuning, MDPS calibration, and countermeasure development of prototype vehicles at various stages of development. The intern will also develop and execute test plans, coordinate test vehicles, and manage supplier activities. Support for vehicle dynamics development activities at the Hyundai California Proving Ground is required, along with creating and presenting clear & concise status and technical reports. Additionally, the role includes executing special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Mechanical engineering student with at least 2 years of automotive/dynamics-related coursework
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Preferably, junior or senior standing
