About The Position

As the RFP Manager at Flywire, you will own a core part of our go-to-market engine by leading the end-to-end delivery of high-impact, competitive proposals for clients across our global verticals. You’ll serve as the hub of coordination, turning complex requirements into clear, compelling responses that showcase Flywire’s strengths and accelerate our growth. You’ll also play a key role in modernizing and scaling the RFP function, leveraging AI, automation, and process innovation to improve speed, quality, and consistency. This is a high-ownership role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, communicates with precision, and is motivated to build a best-in-class proposal operation.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of relevant RFP/proposals experience (preferably in Higher Education and Healthcare verticals and US/Canada/UK regions), including using procurement e-portals
  • Experience driving AI/automation, including with proposal tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Loopio), with a mindset for workflow optimization and process efficiency
  • Advanced project management, cross-functional collaboration, and operational discipline, including managing RFP trackers, coordinating stakeholders, and reliably meeting tight deadlines across multiple proposals
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and content development abilities with strong attention to detail and the skill to translate complex information into clear, compelling responses
  • Strategic and analytical thinking to synthesize client requirements, craft persuasive win themes, interpret RFP trends/KPIs, and guide continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end proposal process from RFP receipt through final submission, including coordination with cross-functional stakeholders and authoring responses and ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with Flywire governance and brand standards
  • Manage the RFP tracker, timelines, and workflows to maintain clear visibility, proactive communication, and on-time delivery across all active proposals and internal SLAs
  • Develop high-quality, strategic proposal content by understanding client requirements, crafting compelling win responses, and aligning messaging to Flywire’s product capabilities, value propositions, and corporate policies
  • Lead AI/Automation-enabled improvements across the RFP lifecycle, optimizing the use of tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Loopio), scaling content/drafting workflows, and reducing manual effort and turnaround times
  • Maintain and enhance the RFP content library and analyze trends/KPIs to strengthen response strategy, improve operational efficiency, and scale best practices globally
