About The Position

The Revolution Academy Intern will support the Regional Manager/Camp Director, Operations and Administration Manager and other Academy Managers with various strategic projects and initiatives for the Revolution Academy summer camps. This intern will be provided the opportunity to experience the management of operations, marketing, customer service, Partner relations and event planning & executing in a youth sports organization. The responsibility of organizing paperwork, equipment and supplies for operations and youth soccer camps is a critical element of this position. Through hands-on experience, the incumbent will develop a better understanding of all aspects of sports management within a professional club’s Academy system.

  • USSF Introduction to grass roots coaching module– this free course can be completed online after offer acceptance in advance of the start date

Responsibilities

  • Assisting academy program managers with camp operations including equipment, paperwork, and supplies
  • Assisting lead coaches at Summer Player Development and Elite Programs through administrative & operations duties onsite at camps
  • Assisting lead coaches at Summer Player Development and Elite Programs through on-field coaching and group supervision at camps
  • Taking photographs and videos at various Academy programs to be used in future marketing collateral
  • Creating, collaborating and executing ideas for camp social media posts
  • Assisting parents and families with camp paperwork requirements through a variety of communication correspondence, including e-mail and phone
  • Assist with preparation for Academy Staff seasonal training event
  • On-field participation in Community Engagement clinics and events
  • Special projects as business dictates
