About The Position

We are the world market leader for reusable packaging containers (RPCs) for fresh food and are constantly optimizing our products. We help make the food supply cycle for the population more sustainable. With our RPCs, safety for food transport is improved, there is less waste of food and at the same time the lifespan of the products increases. Through our products and the need for less packaging materials we reduce the carbon footprint. „The future is circular“ SUMMARY: Create and maintain world-class reverse logistics processes within an assigned region/retail network to increase pool turn rate, reduce asset loss, and deliver the best customer service experience to our external retail customers and internal partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field (Supply Chain / Business)
• Proficient in MS Office with Advanced Excel
• Understanding of transport and supply chain
• Desired minimum 2 years of Supply Chain and/or Transportation experience
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results
• History of working in a fast-paced environment
• Inventory Management experience preferred
• Prior experience with SAP
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and constraints
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Willingness to learn and adjust approach to achieve results
• Demonstrated self-starter

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with assigned reverse logistics 3PLs, transport partners, operations, and sales teams.
• Ensure accurate daily inventory reporting practices at reverse logistics 3PLs.
• Manage proper inventory levels
• Work with the transportation and planning departments at IFCO to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries.
• Schedule and follow through with grower customer returns in the assigned region.
• Collaborate with retail and supply chain teams to execute network, transport, and routing changes to drive improvements in turn rate in the assigned geography and reductions in loss/damage rate.
• Deliver continuous improvements in collection costs.
• Work with our retail team to share metrics and performance, as well as to build a better understanding of our relationship with the retailer and the specifics of their supply chains.
