WHAT YOU'LL DO Manage our AWS marketplace pipeline and work with deal desk/sales/partnerships to ensure accuracy and compliance in various systems across the business Review and approve billing and revenue accuracy of sales orders being entered into financial systems Maintain quality reviews in a high volume transactional environment Perform month end reconciliations and reviews between all revenue cycle systems, including commissions Ability to work with teams in non-finance roles, explain revenue and commissions accounting objectives, and act as a trusted representative of our larger team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and adhere to tight deadlines Help lead the quarterly & year end audits (SOX and financial) and be a point of contact for our external auditors Ensure timely completion of monthly/quarterly close procedures WHO YOU ARE Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience (mix of public accounting and/or SaaS industry experience) Familiarity with ASC 606, ASC 340, and SOX compliance requirements Experience with reading and interpreting contractual language Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to meet tight timelines; able to manage multiple priorities Experience working in Salesforce (or any similar CRM), NetSuite and/or Zuora is a plus Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,000 and $95,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $85,000 and $100,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience (mix of public accounting and/or SaaS industry experience)
  • Familiarity with ASC 606, ASC 340, and SOX compliance requirements
  • Experience with reading and interpreting contractual language
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet tight timelines; able to manage multiple priorities
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in Salesforce (or any similar CRM), NetSuite and/or Zuora is a plus
