About The Position

You Are A data‑driven revenue strategist who blends financial modeling, pricing analytics, and market insight to drive smarter decisions across the Presort business. You are the Director’s key partner for pricing intelligence, USPS rate case modeling, RPP forecasting, and revenue performance analysis. You translate complex data into clear insights that shape pricing strategy, incentives, and profitability outcomes. This role is a natural pipeline to a Senior Analyst or Manager of Revenue Strategy.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of financial analysis experience, ideally in a volume‑driven services, logistics, transportation, or related environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with comfort working in large, complex datasets.
  • Experience with revenue modeling, forecasting, and pricing analysis.
  • Ability to interpret market changes and economic impacts and translate them into business implications.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for non‑technical audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • A proactive, curious mindset with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply industry‑specific pricing structures, including USPS frameworks.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market price changes and model financial impacts across classes, products, and customer segments.
  • Own RPP (revenue per piece) forecasting and tracking, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities at the site, region, and network level.
  • Perform Price/Volume/Mix (PVM) analysis to quantify revenue drivers and month‑over-month variances.
  • Develop volume incentive and national discount models to evaluate performance and ROI.
  • Lead revenue projection modeling for annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and strategic planning cycles.
  • Conduct profitability deep dives at the customer, class, region, and product levels.
  • Build and support new pricing frameworks, business cases, and RPP strategies.
  • Model USPS rate case impacts and translate changes into revenue, pricing, and margin implications.
  • Support Audit on SOX‑related revenue items to ensure compliance.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Client Success to align pricing, revenue execution, and contract terms.
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to leadership to influence pricing decisions and margin outcomes.
