About The Position

Vatica Health is seeking a detail-oriented Revenue & Invoice Accountant / Senior Accountant to support accurate revenue recognition, invoicing, and incentive calculations. This role plays a key part in ensuring revenue is recorded in accordance with company policy and applicable accounting standards while supporting timely billing and reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, healthcare revenue experience, and a collaborative mindset.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5–10 years of accounting experience, preferably with revenue focus
  • Experience with revenue recognition and invoicing processes
  • Healthcare, SaaS, or services-based revenue experience strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting systems/ERPs
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ASC 606
  • Netsuite experience

Responsibilities

  • Calculate and record monthly revenues in accordance with company policies and GAAP
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Apply and reconcile customer deposits and payments
  • Calculate and process provider incentive payments in accordance with contractual terms
  • Perform revenue-related reconciliations, including accrued revenue and AR
  • Review customer contracts to ensure proper billing and revenue treatment
  • Partner with operations, sales, and finance teams to resolve billing and revenue discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
  • Support internal and external audits by providing revenue documentation and analysis
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue processes, controls, and documentation, including enhancing automation where possible
