About The Position

Designs, implements and maintains effective training programs for Hurley Medical Center’s Revenue Cycle teams, workflows, and applications. Provides training to staff within the department, virtually, or at various sites around the enterprise. Uses proven methodologies, including needs analysis, to design, develop, implement, and evaluate system training. Assists in tracking and monitoring of performance of the revenue cycle functions as they pertain to training, user education, and positive patient experience. Performs ongoing quality monitoring of revenue cycle workflows performed within the department and enterprise wide to ensure consistency and compliance with payer and hospital policies and procedures. Identifies, communicates, and participates in resolving operational deficiencies that impact revenue cycle workflows. Establishes positive relationships with administrators and providers as well as revenue cycle department team members to deliver an effective training program to the enterprise. Complies with all appropriate safety and infection control standards. Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a courteous and customer-focused manner according to the Hurley Family Standards of Behavior. Works under the supervision of a Revenue Cycle Director who checks and reviews work for effectiveness and conformance to established standards. Provides direction to lower-level employees in relation to training and user guidance.
