Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Revenue Cycle Services’ leadership team in the role of Revenue Cycle Services - Director. The Revenue Cycle Services - Director leads Project Management Office governance, training, and portfolio operations across the larger System Financial Team for all assigned teams supporting IU Health, System Financial Team, and Business Partner strategic project initiatives and business integrations. This Director provides departmental administrative decision making, leadership, and strategic planning including the efficient and productive use of directly assigned and matrixed personnel and other financial resources. This leader ensures high quality standardized work processes that result in consistent outcomes that compare favorably with relevant national benchmarks and collaborates with other Directors and Executive Directors across the organization to ensure consistent leadership and project management standards across the division. The incumbent must possess a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant Project Management experience with complex and large projects, current PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or requirement to attain within 12 months, experience with enterprise PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) processes and software tools, experience with contractor and vendor management as well as a demonstrated fundamental understanding of project accounting and financial management. This leader prosses strong subject matter expertise and leadership is required in order to support continuous process improvement and change management for a diverse and complex operating environment and span of control. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Requires at least three years of revenue cycle management experience.
  • Requires demonstrable knowledge of healthcare billing terminology concepts and processes.
  • Requires the ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.
  • Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Requires effective written and verbal communication skills in both individual and group settings.
  • Requires the ability to organize and manage work to achieve performance expectations.
