About The Position

This role is ideal for an experienced leader in healthcare revenue cycle management, responsible for guiding a high-performing team to deliver client-focused solutions and operational excellence. You will oversee processes across professional and hospital billing, manage insurance operations, and strengthen client relationships through strategic initiatives. The position requires balancing team development, quality assurance, and revenue optimization while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations. You will collaborate across multiple departments to implement process improvements and drive measurable performance outcomes. This is a remote role, offering flexibility while supporting clients across multiple U.S. time zones.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) experience in a leadership role
  • Experience managing teams of 50+ employees
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, PPO, and commercial insurance operations
  • Expertise in both professional billing (PB) and hospital billing (HB)
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms such as Epic, MEDITECH Expanse, or HealthQuest
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Waystar or Experian RCM platforms, and rural or critical access hospital environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage insurance operations teams, including supervisors and staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with internal and client procedures
  • Oversee staff performance, conduct reviews, address HR matters, and facilitate professional growth opportunities
  • Develop and implement processes and strategies to optimize revenue cycle operations and enhance client satisfaction
  • Manage client relationships, lead new client development, and maintain ongoing communication for performance improvement
  • Identify revenue enhancement opportunities and implement operational improvements
  • Conduct training initiatives to keep teams current on changes in processes, regulations, and client requirements
