Carolina Nephrology's Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee all aspects of ASC and OBL billing operations, optimize reimbursements, and drive revenue cycle excellence. Requirements

  • Medical Coding Certification
  • 4–7 years of medical billing experience, including supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated ASC or OBL billing and coding knowledge
  • Strong understanding of payor regulations, reimbursement processes, and HIPAA compliance
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EPIC and Streamline systems
  • Knowledge of physician credentialing processes

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of ASC & OBL revenue cycle operations, from charge capture through collections
  • Ensure alignment between billing, clinical, and operational teams
  • Lead staff development and training to promote high performance
  • Monitor billing and collections for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Manage accounts receivable and reduce outstanding balances
  • Supervise month-end closing and prepare financial reports
  • Analyze denials, identify trends, and implement corrective actions
  • Evaluate and improve billing workflows to increase efficiency and reimbursement
  • Oversee charge capture accuracy to minimize revenue leakage
  • Develop performance dashboards and forecasting reports for executive leadership
  • Track revenue cycle KPIs, lost revenue, and collections trends
  • Support strategic planning through financial analysis
