Requirements

• Associate’s degree in related field OR minimum 10 years accounts receivablemanagement experience required in a healthcare environment.
• Extensive knowledge of a hospital billing and collections functions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Has strong working knowledge of the revenue cycle, analytical skills and coordinates awide range of administrative duties involved in the resolution accounts receivable.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree
• FDCPA background
• Experience with STAR, SSI Billing System

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of insurance, government billing and collections, including denial resolution for the organizations five acute care facilities and one inpatient rehabilitation facility.
• Responsible for all staff and/or supervisors assigned to insurance, government billing and collections under his or her supervision.
• Proactively identifies issues and effectively problemsolve as issues arise.
• Effectively communicates policies, procedures and processes to internal staff as well as administrators, physicians, and other individuals within the organizations.
• Abides by andpromotes HIPAA compliance at all times.
