About The Position

The Revenue Cycle Coordinator, as a team member of Devereux/TCV’s Fiscal Department, will be responsible for recording, reviewing, processing and controlling financial data and records to ensure that TCV is in compliance with the policies, procedures, and guidelines related to generally accepted accounting principles.

Requirements

  • Must have a High School Diploma with one-three years of medical office experience.
  • This position requires experience with medical authorization procedures, credentialing, and strong organizational, communication and analytical skills.
  • The position will require an individual with attention to detail, a strong ability to implement effective processes, and vigilant follow-up.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills for interactions with internal and external constituents.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts with payors and funders, including facility and provider credentialing. Assist with state licensing applications and renewals.
  • Set up payor information, contract components, and payor rules.
  • Complete IDD residential rental contracts and follow up on rental agreements and payments.
  • Track funder rates, utilization data, and rate increase history.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for rate negotiations.
  • Monitor compliance with contract requirements and state reporting.
  • Oversee eligibility and insurance verification processes to ensure coverage before services are rendered and to ensure coverage through the duration of services.
  • Obtain and track pre-authorizations and referrals.
  • Partner with the billing team to address denials and ensure all required documentation is in place.
  • Ensure accurate patient registration and demographic data collection.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on revenue cycle performance, trends, and key financial metrics.
  • Support month-end close processes and budget planning.
  • Lead system implementations and upgrades to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner with clinical, operations, and administrative teams to streamline workflows and support growth, and lead training and provide ongoing support to staff involved in the revenue cycle.
