About The Position

The Revenue Cycle Collections Supervisor is responsible for the timely follow-up and collection of payment including but not limited to third party payer receivables. This position is the main point of contact between the facility and third-party payers to ensure maximum reimbursement is achieved and aging of receivables is minimized. Leads will process weekly reports and responsible for closing their facility. Handle issues that arise, work with and train new and existing staff. The Revenue Cycle Collections Supervisorwill be a direct liaison with the CFO of the facility.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
A minimum of two (2) years of collection experience in a healthcare setting is required or any combination of education, training, or experience in a business office environment.
Working knowledge and understanding of insurance rules and regulations is needed.
Basic familiarity with MS Excel.
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor is needed.
Detail oriented and possessing strong time management skills is necessary in order to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
Weekend/holiday work as required.
